I am working on getting the engineering drawings finished that show how completely under designed this trailer was. It was supposed to be a 17,000 GVWR Trailer with a capacity of around 12,500 lbs
I was initially told it would be 2-3 months for the trailer to get built, and when that time came and went, I was continually brushed off until it had finally been almost 6 months until the trailer was completed
Technically I don't have a leg to stand on because I "overloaded" the trailer by exceeding it's capacity by 650 lbs. The support team told me this is the expected result when the trailer is overloaded by 650 lbs... a severely bent frame. When asked about engineering drawings, or design calculations I was told there were none, which makes sense with the complete failure experienced here.
My end goal is to inform as many people as I can about the absolute horrible quality and design of these trailers. I've seen shadetree welders that could produce a much better trailer. This is completely unacceptable for any reputable trailer manufacturer.
